"I went to watch the horror called "PotC" by all the die-hard fans. I hated it, but I fell in love with how Johnny Depp looked like. So I went and rent other movies starring him, and I was surprised to find that he was actually a *good* actor, not just a good looking face! So I think that all those fans who make him known are actually just giving us a change to get to know him as an actor."

you've probably never heard of me so this is coming out of nowhere--- (i gotta rethink that, this IS the internet after all....) anyway i must say i have to agree with you one hundred % on the above quote. altho i saw PoTC of 'my own will' and loved it anyway, i've also gone out and rented some of his other works, namely Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow and Ed Wood so far. After seeing only the first two (plus PotC) i'm thoroughly convinced that any and everyone who just have a crush on him are missing out on someone who is probably one of the best actors of all time. He's amazing that way! You rarely ever see Johnny, just whichever character he's playing. There's one moment in Ed Wood that's not quite as good, he's saying "Quiet. We want these Baptists to like us." where's it is rather him, but otherwise, he's amazing!

my apologies if i've bored you to wits end.

wow. I'm so sorry I haven't replied to your comment before. I've been busy with all kinds of stuff and I haven't been able to use my computer much. I hope you still remember me and your post. If you don't, just ignore my blabbering.
I'm happy to see that someone agrees with me. Johnny Depp is... well, you know what he is, since you so well said it yourself. "Any and everyone who just have a crush on him are missing out on someone who is probably one of the best actors of all time." Thank you, my friend, for putting my thought on the paper. I couldn't have said it better myself. =)
Have you seen Secret Window? My god, if anyone else had played Depp's part, it would have bored me to wits end. Once again, he proves that he's a professional, amazing actor. (with the most handsome face in the whole universe, but that's another story.)
